Orangeville and Werombi locales are considered two of Wollondilly's Northern Villages. Situated north of The Oaks and south of Warragamba and Silverdale, this locale is a collective of rural activities. Large agricultural holdings include cattle, deer, alpaca , vegetable, flowers and timber businesses. Boutique tourism and farm gate opportunities in the Northern Villages are currently being developed as a new tourism product by Wollondilly Shire Council, to be branded the "Wollondilly Harvest Experience." Fresh and organic produce and "Country" experiences offer new home based business opportunities for the population of Orangeville and Werombi and it is anticipated that Bed & Breakfast facilities will begin to emerge in this precinct of the Shire. Silverdale is part of the Greater Blue Mountains Drive circuit and offers visitors the opportunity to cruise a good quality country road, buy fresh produce, explore the area and breathe fresh air. Students from Orangeville and Werombi attend The Oaks, Warragamba or Camden Primary Schools and Camden High Schools.
